Thanks for the information. Mine will be a street pounder, but if there are some easy trails I would like the chance to take her offroad.

Look forward to the details to come

There are all levels of trails. "Muskrat" took his cherry uncut through the NorthEast property and stuck to green trails and was okay. (Maybe a couple of minor Pa Pinstripes from branches, but nothing that wouldn't buff out) Attached a pic of his ride on a green trail.

Roundup vehicle requirements and a few other suggestions for the different trail levels.

Vehicle Requirements:

Mandatory equipment for Street Cruise:
Must be road worthy and street legal
Must have seatbelts for all passengers

Recommended for Street Cruise:
CB Radio
Fire Extinguisher (A,B,C type)
Basic first aid Kit
Trash Bag/container

Mandatory equipment for all Trail Levels:
Hardtop or Roll Bar
Seatbelts for all passengers
Solid Battery Hold Down (no bungee cords)
CB Radio
Fire Extinguisher (A,B,C type)

Other recommended equipment for all Trail Levels:
Basic first aid Kit
Trash Bag/container

Additional Requirements to run Blue and Black Level Trails
Tow Points either on the Front, Rear or Both ends
Good Tow strap - with no metal hooks
Tires: 33" min. for Blue, 35" min. recommended for Black
Locker or Limited Slip on one axle required for Blue, both axles for some Black

Additional Requirements for Red Level Trails
Tires: 36"+ min
Lockers required on both axles

Other Suggestions:
Carry some hand tools, Spare fluids and spare parts.
Carry a spare tire or a means of re-inflating your tires should you experience a flat.

If you do have a winch, check it's operation before the event. Be sure it is in good repair and equipped with RATED accessories, such as tree saver straps, shackles or D-rings, snatch block and quality leather gloves.

Do your vehicle maintenance and make sure everything is in good working order BEFORE you come to the Roundup! We do realize that things happen and that breakage does occur so if something does happen to your rig, rest assured, MEB has never left a member or guest stranded on the trail or street! And, if your vehicle is questionable or is having issues the morning of the ride, someone in the group will usually have an open seat for you to ride along with them.

While on the trail and while driving to and from the trail head, ALWAYS keep the vehicle behind you in sight! Especially at any intersection of trails or roads! Safety dictates that we keep our group together.

DO NOT LITTER! Keep in mind that we are one of the most scrutinized outdoor groups. Our actions may very well determine where we may or may not be able to ride in the future. Some of the places we ride are on private property. It is imperative that we respect the land owners by showing respect for their property and by leaving it as clean, or cleaner, than it was on our arrival. Cigarette butts, etc, are considered litter!

getting closer, i had better get to work :p

Get busy mister!

After seeing your post in "What have you done to your Bronco today" I did a little more practice for the blindfolded driving contest. I could have done better but I was fighting a headwind and pulling a pop-up camper, kind of over-training you might say.

Can't wait to see the new rig!

That is ultimately up to Chris / Bernie.

We will probably have someone doing tech at the park as well for those who go there direct, but we'd like to get most of them knocked out the night before when people check in at the campground which is why we will also have one or two people from the Rausch Creek staff at the campground so people can turn in paperwork, pay, etc. ahead of time to speed things up in the AM.

Yea, we will have tech at both locations as some folks will leave their truck at Rausch.

We would really like everyone to have a CB to communicate on the trails. We seem to be getting worse with this over the years and it makes it hard to keep groups together.

I'll be there only on Saturday could only get a room for one night but that's better then nothing at all

Lot's of campgrounds allow for an additional tent on a RV site. You'd be welcome to set up a tent on our site if you like. Let me know & i'll call to check.
