Before I put the tank back in help me decide if I should attempt to pop out this dent?

Doesn't currently leak, is near weld seams and bend crease.

I will be adding a skid plate %) before I jack it up more.

Is it an outie or an innie?
I'm just crazy enough to try to pound it out first. Maybe even filling it with water or some other strange methodology.

But it's not actually hurting anything either, so I would not feel all that bad if I failed miserably to pound it out.

Will this Bronco ever see a trail?
Yes: leave it. Already have first dent, more won't matter.
No: Mall crawler. Appearance over function. Fill it in with Bondo.

All the crap happening to mine right now, I just don't see a dent.

Dent

I say pound it out.
Viperwolf would say it is environmentally streamlined.

cap off tank, fill it with compressed air and give a couple love taps around dent to see if it will pop out. if skit plate covers it, let sleeping dog lie.

I can’t believe I even asked, I guess I didn’t feel like working on the truck. I tried to pop it out using wood and bfh, it wants to stay. Ok with me, was happy it didn’t mess with my pickup. BC makes a pretty stout tank and nice baffles. I just wish the return line was longer so I could attach a hose rather than having it waterfall into the tank

On the return, you could probably reach in through the big hole and add a hose of your own. Or is it too close to the side wall to get a hose around? I forget.

Looks to be about 1/2" nub in the tank, I might be able to heat up and squeeze some nylon fuel line on it. I've read that stuff is fine to be submersed in gas, same material inside and out. Anyone know otherwise?

My thinking is somebody's got to nearly get under the Bronco to even be in a position to see THAT dent. I'm not nearly OCD enough to fool with it...or maybe I'm just too lazy. Lol
