Any ideas where I can find a good complete 250 six? Nothing on CL, ebay, usual google sites. Closest Maverick in P n P is a hundred miles away....Maybe post an ad on a Mustang site for someone doing a V8 conversion? Thanks, Mark

If you have Facebook then join some pages that are for swapping/selling/trading engines or parts near you. There are several pages I'm apart of and one in particular always has older engines for sale.

250 source

I got my last one at pnp. They have new vehicles showing up daily so you never know. The previous one came from a want ad I put on Craigslist. Some guy called about the second day the ad ran and another just after that. They are getting a little hard to find.

Hey Bronc, good to hear from you. My daughter is done with her program there but we'll be back. Still so much we didn't get to see!
broncopilot, I didn't call on the ones I found yet. Either way there's either a really long drive or shipping. Thanks though I may take you up on it. Mark

Well, those leads didn't pan out. There's a Granada at the local P n P. I'll go check it out in the morning. Not sure how to tell the difference between the 200 and 250 six on visual exam. Apparently they came with 200, 250, 302 and 351.

Pull the head off and measure the stroke? That's not visual but could be your only way. It's not too invasive.

I've read that over too. I do have a 200 in the shop that I can measure for comparison. Hoping for a sticker.....We'll see in the morning.
