2nd gen bronco worth having?

Dude I'd jump on that for a $1000. I would love to have one and that one looks as good as some I've looked at for twice that amount.

For the coin I would buy it and drive it as is. As long as it will pull a sticker just drive it for now.

These are really cool. Many years ago...1980 I paid big bucks when I repowered ,for the 4th time, my '69 F-100 prerunner. All from the F-150/gen 11 Bronco. The 400M was not as powerful as the 435 hp FE410/Toploader combo but the larger discbrake, axles frontend combined with the warmed over 400/C-6/205 was a real sweet combo. That 410 broke 22 front axles...PNW4DA playday drag racing with 7/50 16 tires on the front, tera-tires on the rear.;) Fun stuff!

I got given one of these for basically free how can I tell if it's a '78 or '79 I already know it's a 2nd gen'... thinking about fixing up it's in pretty good condition.

Seriosuly, don't bump ancient threads with absoutly no input. Get over to fullsizebronco.com and ask your questions there- a good place to look is on the doog tag.
