That's exactly what Rootes (Chrysler) did with the Tiger. It was fast!

I hope he gets it...he put a ton of time and money into it, and it is one amazing bronco, with all the bells and whistles. Someone who wants a sweet, top notch bronco could buy it.

Wow... EFI and looks as clean and neat as a simple carb setup. Where are all the wires?

And like was asked earlier... what is the wiper setup?

Man... that really is a super clean ride. I dont think you are asking too much.... best of luck.

Man on Man I would love to have this rig. My only problem is the 30K would be the cheap part compared to divorce court.:(

Well done mystery lights ...

yeah yuh gotta love those old triumphs. i had a 69 tr6 as my first real car (i try not to count the boring reliable datsun). but id votefor gt6. same frame as the spitfire, but its got the straight 6. you could always throw a spitfire body on it. i would think that would be easier than an engine transplant. my bronco is now a 69. what does that mean?

i agree with the ride part- but you just need 2 cars
a quick nimble one to drive around things quickly, and a big brute to drive over them slowly. for me its a bronco and a vw corrado.

Ok but there was nothing to it. I had the 24 gallon tank from Wild Horses to start so I would imagine that would make things easier. With the taillight out I removed the 'tabs' that hold the light into place and stop it from falling into the body. Next I welded a hinge inside on top of the taillight opening. The bracket that is welded from the hinge to light body was formed so as to get the light to go up and away from the truck as it is opened.

At the bottom of the "hole" where the light sits I cut out another hole the same size as the rubber grommet that holds the stock filler pipes into place. Cut a length of 90' pipe and placed it in there. Joined the pipe and tank with the correct size rubber gasoline stable hose.

For the filler cap, because the opening is so small I used one of those caps that have the little trap door as an opening. No need to ever remove the cap!

Finally I used a twist-and-pull latch on the bottom of the taillight to hold it shut.

The vent pipe follows the filler pipe and goes up into the taillight corner piece.

Easy!%)
