I was wondering if anyone knew of the cheapest way to buy a new crate engine with EFI. I'm seeing everything 10k + and just was wondering if anyone has done this swap and found an affordable solution. Looking for something around 300 HP.
Thanks!!

Blueprint Engines seems to be doing things for reasonable prices, but not sure if they have any already set up with EFI. Was just about to check out their site anyway, because a customer was extolling their virtues today.
Not sure where the torque and power numbers he was quoted come in the rpm range, but they were some pretty high torque numbers.

Lots of those engines will be "set up" for carb or EFI, but not actually equipped with the final setup. Are you looking for basically a turn-key EFI setup?

IMO the cheapest and generally better option is to rebuild what you already have, do your homework and take a trip to the junk yard and pull the efi parts you need. I don't think I have $6000 in my entire drivetrain!

fitech efi is right at a grand. bolt on. have your motor built the way you want it to be and get the fitech.
