302 swapped motor mount Replacement Question

Hey all ....so one of the previous owners swapped from a 6 to a 302. Motor is circa 1978-ish - truck is a 1968.

Just picked this truck up and need to get it safetied. I noticed the mount is barely mounted! Here's some pics Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 ...it seems the bolt on the mount isn't long enough - what replacement mounts do I need to order? Is it just the rubber part with a bolt in it that I need? Having a hard time figuring out what one to order - any help is apprecaited.

SBF V8 motor mounts for EB are all similar.

If the bolt threads in question have not been shortened I suspect that spacer material has been added between motor mount and frame support bracket.

Someone who has converted frame from I6 to V8 will need to comment.

I would start with stock Bronco V8 motor mounts.
But warning, this wasn't a well done swap. And I can't say what mounts they used. They look like they COULD be Bronco 302 motor mounts. But there is no law that says a shadetree engine swap has to use that exact mount.

Wondering if it might be easier to have what’s there removed and put in a proper set?

His problem is not the insulator. (6038)
His problem is the frame stand (5057 and 5058)

My guess is someone welded the V8 frame stands in too low, and then added spacers to get the engine height right...and that makes the stud too short.

(...and I know that the Bronco doesn't use a "frame stand" in the traditional sense, but I'm calling it a frame stand and Insulator so I don't say "motor mount, motor mount, and motor mount")

If I owned it, I would swap out to the adjustable insulator like the pic below. Tom's or Jeff's. Wild Horses 4x4 old part number 8036. It' s worth a call to Tom's to get a measurement. The factory studs are designed to be short enough to drop straight down the slot. The Extreme duty one's had longer studs, and I THINK Tom's were longer. (Can't remember, but they will tell you if you ask them...)

Even though those studs are a little longer than stock. If the studs are still too short, I'd drill them, tap them, and replace them with longer studs.
(well, that's not strictly true...If I owned it, I'd fillet open those brand new mounts and replace the bolt with a longer bolt and weld them back.)
(Which is also not strictly true. If I owned it, I'd pull the engine and replace those frame stands with new ones, and weld them in correctly.)

@Oldtimer the only reason I'm posting is to point out that the "SBF motor mount" is ambiguous. There are three that look remarkably similar. The 1963-65 Anchor mount 2220, and 2221 (L vs R) look the same as the 1966+ Anchor 2329. (L&R) The only difference is stud spacing. It's not much, but it might as well be a foot if you have the wrong ones... It only matters when it matters.

This, but honestly I could never get those fancy heavy duty mounts to bolt up right, I used stock oem looking 302 mounts.
