351 fuel rail woes, need advice from EFI guru

So as I am getting all of my parts together to do my EFI swap on my 69 351W, I notice I cant find my fuel rail or injectors anywhere. I parted out a mustang in 2003, and I "had" every stinking piece that I needed. In fact I "had" the entire engine harness sensors and all that ran great so I knew they were good. So 6 years later to the present day when Im finally ready to use them there missing. I have moved and re-arranged so many time since I last saw them.

Heres my question. I can get a set of rails and injectors off a 93 351W at my local yard for 75.00. -or- should I buy new injectors and rails and spend the 350+ for the added insurance of new parts. Ive been in the auto industry for a while now and I know for the most part injectors are not the first thing to go out and is not such a problem as fuel pumps etc etc.

The engine is pretty much stock, except headers, MSD. Should I get 19# or 24#? there are future plans for some HP goodies but for now id just like a smooth runner. Would going to the 24# injectors cause any issues on the stock 351W now?

What do you think, new? used? Is there a good way to clean used ones while there off? I have a noid light set so I can test the electrical side of them anyway...... Thanks!

Well I feel like an ass, not 10 minutes after I posted that I walked out to the shed to grab a hose and saw a garbage bag in the shape of an oil pan (an oil pan that has injectors and fuel rails and some other misc. mustang parts in it) under my parts washer. ha! well if I had never posted that I would have never found it. Somedays I dont know what to do with my self. Should I upgrade to the 24# now or wait?

Keep the 19s until you are ready to do upgrades. Just throwing on bigger injectors without the proper programming to drive them will cause a whole chain of issues.
