Found a couple answers on here and Google but want to verify. Does anyone have a diagram of the 1994 351W and the #s of each cylinders (firing order)?

Thanks.

Now here is where my concern is....is that the firing order for the pre or post 1986 models?

All 351W use that firing order with stock cams. Since you are not using a stock cam look at the cam specs and use the firing order specified.

Now that I did not know! I'll check the docs and call the cam grinder. Thanks!

I now remember seeing it on the camshaft data sheet...it reads:

13726548

Now the question is, which cylinder is which? Do the numbers follow the same flow as the diagram above? So 1372 is front to back on the passenger side and 6548 is front to back on the driver's side? I'll call the cam grinder tomorrow.

the cylinders stay the same always. firing order is just what it says. the order they fire in. it can start anywhere on the distributor, you just have to go in the right order after #1

Got it, thanks. This all came about because I'm starting the process of gaping the rings for the new pistons and I want to keep track of exactly which ring I gap in which cylinder and assign them to each piston.

Thanks again.
