3G Alternator Upgrade: Wiring diagram

Anybody have a digital version of the schematic or wiring diagram for this swap?

As I understand it this swap also eliminates the need for the electronic module as well. Is that right?

Yep, that's the whole point of the swap anyway. Well, getting the 130+ amps is the whole point, but getting rid of the external regulator and it's wiring is a big plus too.

I'm sure you've read here many times that you can't use your original Black w/yellow charge wire. It's just too small to handle the full load if it's ever called upon.

For digital, check out Steve83's SuperMotors pages, or find one of the other threads where he's linked his pages to here. Updated and pretty nice. You can super-size them to more than full-size images, and I assume print them out and/or save them to your computer.
I "assume" that's what you meant by digital. As opposed to someone sending you a disc or thumb drive copy?

Pretty straightforward swap overall.

Yeah - a Taurus 3G bolts right in, swap the pulley - run the exciter wire to the ignition power and you are set. Clean up voltage regulator wiring - did mine in a field with a leatherman and a adjustable wrench.

Not to get overly technical but the YEL/WHT wire is slightly better routed all the way the way to the battery. Technically you want it to measure the voltage at the battery and not the voltage at the alternator. Granted you would never know the difference in most installations.
