This is how far i've gotten so far. any input would be appreciated. mounted the alternator with minor trimming to the bracket. removed the old alternator, regulator and harness as an assembly by unbolting the alternator and regulator, unplugging the 3 wire connector and removing one fusible link from the B+ side of the starter relay. I cut the other end of the 3 wire connector off of the alternator harness. I'm going to plug it back into the connector on the truck harness. I'm guessing the fusible lik has to go back on the B+ side of the starter relay as this must power up the whole damn truck. The biggest wire(black and yellow maybe) is the old charge wire and remains disconnected? the 3rd smallest wire is probobly B+ with key on? there is a splice coming from the B+ fusible link with a small yellow wire which is probobly going to be my B+ all time wire to my regulator and then hook the other Key on B+ wire to the regulator?
