ERRRRRR!!!!! Last Wed I got an email 10%off. i needed a matching spare tire and wheel, so I called. First was told the 10% was already figured in, will the prices match my Jan issue of their ad, so then the "sale" isn't new. Anyway he does me a favor and removes this and that to get the price down but charges $80 for shipping. I figured it had to come truck and was probably right. Well Sat I get a "reminder" email and the ad now has "free truck and UPS shipping" added to it. I call back and he tells me online ordering charges more and that it will equal out to the same w/ free shipping. So I go online, place the order, even after all the crating fees, mounting and balancing, it is still $18 cheaper and only $26.55 shipping. Now I'm getting the salemans BS about prices change daily and I got the best deal..............

I don't care, they advertise 30 day low price garauntee, this is there own AD!!!!!!!

EEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, i went there once when i 15 and had just gotten the Bronco. The guy behind the counter quoted a suspension kit by superlift to be well over $3500.00. I laughed and said no thank you. That was my first and last experince with these D-bags.

Well got to thinking a little more, went on site and got the Suggested Retail prices, the current prices aren't the 10% off either.

It's partially my fault for being in a hurry when ordering and not researching, but damn, I didn't expect to get raped that bad.

4WP is the WalMart of the wheeling vendors. %) You shouldn't expect knowledgable sales people or great service at either place.

The service and customer support varies from one to the next and even varies depending upon who you talk to behind the counter. The one near me does pretty good as long as I talk to the right person.

I had good experiences with 4-wheel parts on pricing when they were competeing with the Dick Cepek store in town, but now that they (Dick Cepek) is no longer in business here, 4-wheel parts charges whatever they feel like. It does make a difference if you have a friend that works there.

Will I got lucky I guess, turns out he just needed to wait for a supervisor to show up, and he refunded me to my satisfaction.

Last time I went into one of the stores. Asked how much one of the display super U-joints are going for (no price on the display)
Clerk #1 (who I asked) turns to clerk #2 and asks "how much are the ox-joints(may or may not have been the brand but doesn't matter) selling for?"
Clerk #2 states that "it depends on application".
Clerk #1 states "for a 1310 replacment"
Clerk #2 states "that they are not for driveshafts"

At that point I didn't want anything to do with clerk #1 and clerk #2 quoted my prices that should have included the axles to match.

Wait untill you call them with proof that someone is selling something for a way lower price. When I was shopping for tires Discount was selling Goodyear MTR's for about $25 cheaper per tire. I called 4WP they looked up the discount site and were like we cant match that. I said what about the lowest price guarntee? The said it was a LOW price guarntee. A LOW price guarntee? So really they gurantee that they think the prices are low???

4 Wheel dummies has never done me right either. O-wait, that's not totally true. They did get the right drag-link boots for me. But unless I know exactly what I am getting or have the old part in hand, I do not go there. They claim to know a lot, but I ALWAYS get the wrong part. U-joints, brake lines.... Terrible!

I'm surprised that they are still pulling their dirty tricks. A year ago they were busted by the Feds for their misleading ads and their outright lying and chiseling... They were found guilty of alot of criminal business practices anf fined an exorbitant amount of $$$. And they're still at it %)

I got rims and tires from them for my 2000 tacoma that I had. I ordered online with no problems. Got a good price from what I could tell. Put them on my truck and once it got up to 60 the truck would start shaking. Couldn't figure out what the hell was going on. Luckily there was a 4WP store in Sac about an hour away. I drove it there (slow going cause of the damn shaking). They balanced the tires cause they found they were really off balance but here's the kicker. They took the tires off and found one of the stems in 1 tire and some of the lead used to balance tires in another. Not sure how they got in there but I was pretty pissed to say the least. Not buying anything from them ever again.

I got the same thing when I asked them if they would price match on a 8274 winch. They claimed that they didn't have enough of a price margin from Warn to sell it any lower than what they offered me. While I get good customer service otherwise it is a bit annoying that they advertise a low price guarantee and then don't actually follow through unless they want to.

I had to talk to a store manager to get them to price match D44 Warn axle shafts with an advertisement in their own 4Wheel Adventures magazine!

They sold my friend bent wheels. They finally replaced them after 3 months. Also, they wouldn't price match stuff for me either. They said they didn't understand how the other guy has such low prices, and that he would probably be out of buisness soon because his prices were too low to make any money. LOL

Same here, when I tried their low price guarantee scam, I was told that the competitor’s price was to low and must not a legit business, because 4wheel parts morethanretail were Eagle Alloys #1 dealer and 4wheel parts morethanretail can not even get them at that price. So after hanging up the phone I ordered the wheels from their competitor and received 4 brand new wheels straight from Eagle’s warehouse for $230 less than 4wheel parts morethanretail’s price.

You got to love a company that drives up the price for everyone!

I'm no fan of them but you do have to wonder how they became the largest off road retailer (morethanretail)LOL on the planet. What's that tell you? I honestly don't know.
