Looking for a good source for a 4100 rebuild kit. Also looking for jets. It's a C5AF I think

Also anyone running one on a mild dual plane 351 or 347? What jets?

Thanks,
Joe

Your local real parts store ie. not Auto Zone, O'Rielly's, or Pep Boys should have a good kit on the shelf for $25-30. If you want a better quality power valve with a known "Hg rating, get a Holley PV at O'Reilly's. Ford pre-emission carbs are close or right on with their jets. Your 4100 is a 600 CFM 1.12" venturi made for 352-390 FE engines. The exact ID requires the letter or letters that follow the C5AF. The cheapest place to get jets is Allstate Carburetor at $6.25 per pair; http://www.allcarbs.com/detail.php?pid=159&gb=1&ctgn=27&stt=0. Almost any other part can be found at Walker Products.

I used an ebay kit that ended up being from Mike's. Went back to them directly to get the electric choke and a couple other things. The kit was decent quality and have had no issues. If I'm not mistaken they carry the jets too, and they also have several Youtube videos in case you need a refresher on carb building. As far as jet sizes.........I pretty much left the stock jets alone and it seems to work well for me, but I'm running a basically stock reman engine for now. I've got an Xplorer GT40 motor that will be going in eventually, and it'll be a little more on the performance side, but the plan is for fuel injection at that point. I do know some of the 4100's run holley jets, just don't remember whether early or late models.
