460 BBF vacuum or hydroboost?

Hey guys, I recently purchased a 75 bronco. The PO put in a carb'd 460, c6 tranny, np205, 9" rear and hp 44 front on an f-150 frame. Currently, my bronco has power steering but no power brakes. I'm wondering your guys' thoughts on vacuum vs hydro. I have disk front and drum rear. My mechanic stated a vacuum system would be fine and would be less modification (I assume less cost). It seems like the guys on this forum like the hydro however. Please let me know your thoughts. Also wondering if my big block factors into your opinion and why. I'm planning on running 35" tires.

hydro
not because I love this but for these reasons
weight, 460 and 35's,, big increase in weight
that bb is way heavier than any other V-8 and you add weight with the install kit.
i have seen this kit and it must add 150 to the truck itself
the bigger springs to support the v8 are heavier also
the rolling resistance in those big meats are massive compared to stock
look at alloy wheels when you do this
braking power, it is proven somewhere that the boost out of hydro is much more than vacuum.
I strongly suggest you look at your brakes generally
with these mods, you may want to improve your brakes
4 wheel disks or bigger rear drums are my suggestions

Thanks TOFIC. My understanding of hydro is super limited. Should I look at replacing / upgrading power steering pump? Doesn't it run off this?

hydro isn't rocket science, so don't be afraid of it
Lots of guys use the stock pump, teeing the one line
your pump should work but will whine like crazy
check out my tech article, I use a T in that install
send picture of engine bay is there room for power brakes?
soemthing tells me the PO did not do PB because of space.

Nice looking Bronco. Got any pics of how the PO mounted the eb body to the wider F150 frame?

x2. I'd like to see how that was done too. If I recall correctly, Ox was going to build one using that approach and gave it up as impractical after collecting all the various parts to do it. And his fab skills are above average so that told me it's not a trivial problem...
