Bolting my Dana 20 onto my awd 4r70w using the zf5 kit, can someone check my sanity and let me know what the stock clocking is? There’s 3 possible combinations for bolting the transmission to adapter, I thought the middle set of holes was stock Dana 20 clocking but now I’m second guessing myself. Right now the tag on the Dana 20 appears level with the ground. Is this what I want?

Be advised: In the past some of the shifter mounting brackets from AA will make your shifter lean to the driver's side.
I brought it to their attention, and provided them (at their request) a corrected sample.
I have not heard if/when any revisions have been made to production brackets.

The problem is made worse if you have a "J" type D20, as the ~7* of difference makes the shifter lowers bind on the shift-rail flags.
Correction of an incorrect bracket is pretty straight forward if anyone needs to fix one:
1- Cut vertical weld
2-Cut most of the horizontal weld
3-Bend to correct angle
4-Re-weld solid.

Or if you like, we can do it for you.
