Making progress.

Served about 45 for lunch, will probably have 60 or so for dinner if the rain that started just after lunch does not linger much longer!

I got up at 3AM to help Matt and Chris prep the pig and get it on the spit at 5:30AM. It is smelling Mmmmmmm Gooooooood!

Back to the shop....

Just got back in from the shop after a long day!

We had nearly a full crew out until about 11PM, then 6 or 8 of worked on to finish getting the rear coils mounted.

It is not a roller, pics will come soon, too exhausted to post them now....off to my shower and bed so we can get up in a few hours to go out to breakfast and then do some final finish work and cleanup.

pics start now

OK, here's the beginning of the pics. The build started with a frame and a whole bunch of parts. It was a bit of a tight fit getting the body into the shop since it is mounted on a cart which is on a car trailer.

more pics

The pig roast is an important part of the event, after all, WE GOTTA EAT!! Matt (bmc69's brother) did a great job roasting the pig along with Chris from WVA. Also Drew was kept busy as seen here talking on 2 phones standing in his driveway. Broncolou made good use of the pipe bender.

A few more. At the end of the night 3 of the 4 broncos that have been "wrenched and roasted" were in the shop. One was missing due to the owner having lost his dad just before the event and couldn't come.

Some random photos of other stuff going on during the weekend. If you've ever been to an MEB event you know we don't do things on a small scale.

I just got in from the shop...

Today we got up and went out to a small local place for breakfast. Thye were a bit surprised when 25 Bronco people filed in, but they did a great job in getting all our orders out pretty quickly.

We then headed back to my place to break things down and clean up. As always, the MEB crew is great about pitching in and getting work done!

After everyone left, AJ and I set the body on the rolling chassis so he could take it back to his place. It is sitting quite high at the moment and my 38 Swamper SX's that is is temporarily rolling on look small!

Going to jump in the shower and rest for a bit, I'm whipped! I will post up some pics later....

Thanks Judy, Gary and Drew (And of course everyone who showed up). I had a blast. I hated that I had to leave early but I promise I will stay longer next year.
