Very cool to see a bare frame turn into an almost complete rolling chassis in 1 day! The weather was actually pretty good for working in the garage - cool and the rain outside didn't really bother anyone. Lot's of people there helping out and lot's of work got done. I thought it was interesting to see the 4-link take shape. The "kit" didn't match up well to the EB frame (even though it was supposed to be EB specific) so lot's fab work had to be done for the rear. The front coil overs went in fairly easily. Most of the work involved welding so Kevin Kiser really got a work out! He's a fantastic welder.

The food was great - starting on Friday night and all the way through breakfast this morning! Matt and Chris did a great job on the pig.

AJ has a good start on a really nice trail rig. Here's a few of my pics.

** EDIT - having connection problems. I'll put up more pics when I can!

Here are some of the pics I took when I went out to help Matt and Chris prep the pig at 3AM. It too about 2.5 hours from start to finish until it was spinning over the coals and then about 10 hours of cook time. During that time they has to tend to the coals and keep the wire mesh tight as it cooked down to prevent it from falling apart. Then after letting it cool down a bit, they pulled 50-60 pounds of some of the best roasted pig I have ever tasted!

Thanks to both of them for their expertise!

And a few pics from inside the garage:

Thanks to everyone who came out to help AJ get his trail rig project off to a great start!

We had a huge amount of talent in the shop as well as some who came out to learn and help out however they could.

My goal with this event has always been to bring EB enthusiasts together in a more interactive environment than we often can have in a show, street cruise or trail ride type event. I hope all who were able to attend were able to not only help out a very deserving club member and have some fun, but also were able to get some inspiration or motivation or learn a few tricks or for their own future use as well as also getting to know some fellow enthusiasts a bit better.

GOOD EYE Bill! WHAT a blast! I had never attended before and don't think i would miss another. The food was fantastic and to see how these top notch fabricators go about figuring eveything out was astounding to watch. everybody in some way or another pitched in. Matt and Chris did great...they know their way around pigs ;D
i can't thank the Peroni's and extended relations for the hospitality served. MEB as a group is first class in everything they do. Not only the meals served but having cold drinks readily available at any moment. Bacon with ice cream? sign me up!
The Decals were a nice touch as well. Not once was anyone made to feel unworthy or their skills questioned but just the opposite. I was encouraged to try the plasma cutter and jump in whenever. Thank you for a great weekend. AND a special thanks to Magic Man Jeff for the unbeliveable Jada he made to replicate my Bronco. That is so speacial to me and i will never forget it. More later......

I really wanted to stay at Drew's, but with our arrival came the rain, and I had the kids all wrapped up in the car after a 3 hour drive from Pittsburgh, with 2 more to go. I really wanted to have them run and play for the day while I got some time in the garage, but it was not meant to be. I will be back next year with the Bronco...I never miss the W&R!

First, THANKS ALOT SCOOP!!!:p

El' Deablo, I always hate to see the time come that we have to leave! We always find something in ANYTHING to laugh about(even though some people just don't get it);D Our little outfit will be a "pretty big deal" one of these days!! I had alot of fun working beside everyone in the shop this year, good things always happen when that many Bronco minds get together! This is the second Wrench & Roast for me(first one, I built two RC's while the real Bronco was going together), and gettin dirty on the real thing was a blast.

Two things I can't wait to se become a reality....one, when the "monoflare" goes into production one day. The other, I can't wait to show off my shaved rearend!:p

Here are a couple pics of Taskers little pony... The pleasure was all mine brother!

i thought of a great hook for the name too!
"Be Riding On New Coil Options Design" or BRONCO Design ;D:-*;D
you see it's much different, it's all in captial letters. I think the slogan should be "when you think of rearends, think of us first"............ um, maybe that won't work ;D
