Starting a small project and going with a 5.5 Lift and thinking about moving the rear axle backwards a few inches.
With all that lift will the rear crossbeam be a trouble?
With that much lift, it might just depend on how much will travel you build into it.
But you will also run into clearance issues with some of the bigger gas tanks, so keep that in mind as you’re deciding how far to move the axle rearward.
