• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I'm in the middle of an engine swap and have some 1966 Bronco parts that I need to get rid of. Willing to accept any reasonable offers.

Mostly Complete 170 I6 - Motor was completely rebuilt back around 2001. It ran perfect up to about a year ago, but then it sat for a few months and now needs a new carburetor (gas started leaking at the butterfly shaft). It last ran a few months ago, but has a rough idle. It ran very smooth with throttle but after driving for a few minutes it starves itself of fuel. Will part out or $75 for the whole thing.

Good Working I6 3 Speed Transmission - $50 obo

Stock rear 13 gallon fuel tank and skid plate. - $50 obo

Looking for local pickup. All parts are currently in the Bergheim/Boerne area but I can bring all parts other than the engine to San Antonio.

Clutch, flywheel and air filter housing has been sold and the radiator has been picked up.
Everything else is still available.

Do you still have this engine? And i was wondering if it came with the bell housing? And also what would you have to have for the trans/engine both.

Is the 170 a 4 main or 7 main bearing engine?

Would be interested if it's a 7 main.

Sorry guys, I hadn't realised that this thread had been updated...
z-one311 - The engine is still available and if I still have it, I'll throw in the bell housing with it. Send me a PM if you're still interested and I'll check on the bell housing for you.
rockford - The 170 is a 4 main.

73azbronco - The carb is an Autolite 1100 but it's pretty much shot, so I'd just give it to you for the price of shipping. Fuel was leaking from where the butterfly pivot rod goes through the body. So it's most likely only good for parts.

Do you have dual groove pulleys for sale? I am trying to add power steering to my 170.
