get it fingered out...?
Replaced the flasher relay & the left side started blinking for a drive, then later it stopped blinking. I haven't been able to find the fuse for the cluster yet - Going to spend some time on it this evening & I'll report back.

I've been driving it almost once a day to put miles on the motor, limiter set at 4500. It's likely do for a second oil change as I can imagine the oil has some fuel in it. The 195 thermostat seems to be working better as the motor runs much smoother around the 200~ degree mark.

17x8 0 offset wheels, 2.5" TBP lift, 2" rear block, 0 body lift, 285x70r17 tires.

Its important to note when unloaded it had a slight rake from the 2" rear block, but the pictures above on dirt w/ gear in the back it would sit level due to the weight. Blocks were thrown in the trash last week.
Hi Jarrett, I’m pretty much modeling my Uncut EB after yours, can you confirm that you get Zero Front and Back Tire Rub with your current Steering/ suspension/ Wheels/ and Tire Set up?

The stance of this bronco is what I am looking for as well. Would love to know the backspacing on the wheels also.

Under extreme flex situations, there is a very slight rub on the rear quarter towards the front. A very minor fender roll would suffice. If you look at that picture on the first page where it's leaning, you can clearly see the tire tucks in on the rear.

For those measuring used wheels that’s 4-1/2” of back spacing on an 8” wheel.

I’ve spent too much time as of late looking for a 17x8 -12 offset, or 4” of back spacing so these numbers are temporarily burned into my brain lol.

I can recall that same thought, and burnt into the noggin as well

Jarrett. I’m super impressed with your work. Enjoyed seeing the Coors light on your inner fender and the Glock as well. LOL

I’ve been reading your posts that mentions the Sniper harness kit being too short. I purchased their main wiring harness kit to tie in the CD box, ignition box coil and dizzy to control timing. Are you saying that all of these must mount on the fire wall together due to the overall Length of the main harness? Thanks in advance!

Really appreciate the kind words! Yep, the main harness that contains the fuel pump relay appears w/ the designed length/location it was meant to mount the relay & wiring harness on the firewall. I didn't want to drill a hole in the firewall for one random relay.

I think the CD box connection to the harness is only two wires, so you could very easily just extend those wires on the box or the harness to mount it anywhere. I previously had my box sitting inside the front driver fender by the headlight & ran the harness along the fender into the cab & out the other side of the cab.

I mounted my CD box there because I saw a photo of someone else doing it & thought it looked like it belonged there.

Understood. My issue is the cable for the hot water/heater valve comes through the fire wall about 3” below The cowl in the dead center. I guess there wouldn’t be a problem mounting the CD IGN BOX just underneath that cable.

Wired up (correctly this time) the fuel sending unit & an oil pressure sensor last night to the factory cluster, the sniper doesn't allow you to see oil pressure on the handheld that it comes w/.

Every light on the cluster works except the bulbs that illuminate at night (I replaced all), I think the switch on the dash is bad.

On a fun note, our new elderly neighbors call the police on me every time I start the bronco, even when it's in the shut garage. I have the below mufflers on temporarily until I can weld up a full exhaust. I teach my children to respect adults, say Mr/Mrs etc...I personally have the utmost respect for those more senior than myself. We're talking about the bronco running for 5-10 seconds at any point in time. I don't let it sit an warm up, I literally start it & began rolling down the street.

Are you running an AC kit?

That's sad and funny at the same time. When it comes to me being me and doing what I do I can be hard on neighbors. I'd be running it all the time and making noise just because. Being respectful is the correct way, but that goes both ways.....

Great looking rig though

At my old house I had a squirrel problem, couldn't keep the little bastards from eating the soffits off the house. So I declared war, began shooting them like skeet in the trees, but always not in the direction of the road or any other houses other than my neighbor's house that was in the same battle, in the county we can do that legally. I was standing near the road shooting toward my house, neighbor down the road stopped and cussed me out for shooting and I was a danger to them. I told him he was being pretty mouthy cussing a guy holding a shot gun and to call the sheriff. Sheriff told him I was right. Same neighbor called on us target shooting, gave up on that when the responding deputy started shooting with us LOL.

We would get along just fine, I also take care of pesky critters! The me after a couple beers would sit in the garage listening to the motor camming w/ a cigar in my mouth, but I do my best to think WWJD. :)

You did hit that nail on the head :)

I was notorious for doing burnouts in the street too, most of the retired guys would come out to see what I was working on, one in particular always wanted to go for a ride LOL, in front of his house usually looked like a teenage drag racer lived there 🤣 Hi got the biggest kick out of watching a big tired 4wd smoke the front tires. I still get calls from some of them saying how boring it is there now 😆

Took the longest single trip today since the rebuild, the truck is doing really well. When the engine is cold the cam makes the motor buck hard at anything under 2,000 RPM. Once warm around 195° I can lug it as low as 1,200 & it runs smoothly.

The Sniper's IAC needs a bit of tuning though, I messed w/ the start delay today & may have to play w/ the graph later.
