City: Brush Prairie, WA
Price: $ 900

I'm near Portland, OR (just across the river in WA State) - local pickup on this one, unless you can arrange shipping that makes sense.

Up for sale is a 700R4 conversion kit, setup to mate to an Atlas II transfer case. Here's what is included:

700R4 transmission, K-case: This was rebuilt prior to my ownership. I purchased it from Jerry Jones who said he acquired it from Kincade Bauer, and was the same trans that Kincade and Chris Towry were running back in the day. It was built up to operate without electronics for the lockup. I've had this in my Bronco for ~12 years or so, but only have about 30k miles on it at most. The included torque converter was said to be fully furnaced brazed, full torrington bearings, and 2.7:1 torque multiplication setup ordered for his Bronco. These specs are from Jerry and I assume they are accurate, but other than saying it was fully functional in my Bronco I can't guarantee it. Output shaft has been trimmed to work with the Atlas.

Advance Adapters GM Transmission to SBF, 164T - P/N 712588-A: Block plate and torque converter adapter that allows you to bolt the GM trans up to your 302/5.0L engine. 28oz imbalance, 164T flexplate. (I do also have the stock plastic lower cover, not pictured.)

Advance Adapters 2.5" 700R4 Adapter: Shortest adapter available to mate to an Atlas II transfer case.

Bowtie Overdrive 5.0L Ford TV System: Throttle valve actuation cable with adapter plates for the 5.0L SBF. Could likely get it setup on a carb as well with a different connection method.

GM OEM 700R4 Truck Dipstick: Self explanatory, with locking dip stick.

**Update - I can now also include the 27 spline Atlas input shaft that will mate to the 700R4 if needed.

Asking: $1200 $1000 $900

This one may be another long shot, but thought I'd post it here and see if anyone is interested. This was a $3k+ setup years back and still has a ton of life in it. Could be a good deal for someone looking to go with an OD setup who already has an Atlas / wants to change over to one. You could also drop the 2.5" adapter and bolt up a GM transfer case (not sure what kind!). It will not bolt up to a D20 without a different adapter + output shaft change.

PM or post here with questions - thanks!

No questions but just a bump for a great setup at a reasonable price. I've had the same setup in my truck for 15+ years now and really like it.

Just a quick update - I've swapped input shafts in my Atlas, so the 27 spline input I removed can be included with the transmission. This is the 27 X 32 spline version that should fit most Atlas cases (just not the early 6 spline versions).

Still available and can palletize it if someone wants it shipped. Not sure what the cost of that would be these days. Come buy my 700R4 so I can spend that money on other parts I need! :)

Bump...make an offer if you are interested! Can also probably deliver if you are in the PNW. I'm on paternity leave and have a lot of free time on my hands (well, sort of).

Priced drop to $1k. Life got busy with a new baby and a new job (hence the bump 7 months later!), but I'd love to pass this along to someone who can use it...

Still available...thought I had it sold locally, but the buyer flaked. Price drop to $900...eventually we'll get cheap enough that it'll be worthwhile to ship, or I will find another vehicle to install it in!

Where are you located? Let me know and I can try to get a freight quote. Guessing it's not going to be cheap, but happy to try to get an estimate.

Im thinking the nearest freight terminal near me would be Asheville NC 28806. Try that and see how that goes. Dont know if that would be cheaper or not?

Thanks!
