76-77 pedal question

Was the 76-77 wide brake pedal installed in manual trans broncos as well as autos? I've only seen it on autos. Probably weren't as many manual trans those years. For some reason I got that question in my head today during a 15 hour drive.

only with the autos... well at least for all my 77s which were mostly manuals.

Hmm. Maybe it's too wide to fit with the clutch pedal next to it?

It was not on my '76! I did not have the power brake booster either. Not sure if any of the manual trans. had power brakes!

I'm pretty sure the extra 76 assembly I have has it and is manual, I'll look again tonight. My 76 has it and was manual, and I don't remember swapping the pedals, just removing the clutch pedal.

My 76 did not have it and was manual and did have power brakes.

My '76 has the wide brake pedal with power brakes and manual trans. All stock from the factory that way.

I've seen manual trans. ones (yes, more than 1) with the power brake pedal. My uncle had a '76 with the Ranger package that was factory manual, and I believe it had the wide pedal. He bought it with 40-something thousand original miles. He later swapped in an auto.

I have 2 76's with Automatics and manual brakes and they don't have the wide pedal. I believe the wide pedal only came on the one's with power brakes. But on these Broncos nothing surprises me..

X2, here. I swapped to a C4, and removed the clutch pedal. The big brake pedal is a must have. Anybody need a stock clutch pedal?
