After 7 years, 5 states, 2 paint jobs, 3 motors and an accident, version 3.0 of Crush, my 77 jade poly ranger is finally finished . I picked this up back in 2017 and have been working on it ever since. It's a complete frame off restoration with new everything and more upgrades than I can list. I finished it the first time in 2022 and somebody hit it and damaged the front end. At that time It had a brand new BP 306 and a 4r70w with a proflo efi. While the body was being repaired, I had the shop pull the motor and swap in a 2020 f250 7.3 gas motor and a 6r80 transmission. It has a custom engine/trans harness from a 2014 f150 that has been made to work with the 7.3. it pulls like a freight train and the guys who built it had it doing wheelies. I've been daily driving it for the better part of a month now. I haven't had it dyno'd yet, I expect it's making somewhere around 600 hp and torque. I'll post the highlights below
77 jade poly ranger
Frame removed, blasted, kbs coated
Body blasted, repaired, lizard skin in interior and top, color matched rhino liner sprayed on bottom of the vehicle and in the interior
Custom ranger stripes
New ultra heavy duty quick performance 9 inch, narrowed with 35 spline axles and a locker, moved back 1 inch
Jd torque tamer, dual shocks on all 4 corners
Rebuilt Dana 44 with front sway bar, jd long arms
Rebuilt Dana 20 with hd output shaft
Tom woods drive shafts
Stock bumpers with jd rear stock bumper tire carrier
Custom toms interior bar roll cage
Rebuilt stock seats with 78 bronco fabric inserts, all interior plastic dyed to match
Wild horses center console and headbanger pads
Retro sounds radio with dual wet sounds speakers
Rebuilt 6r80, 2020 f250 7.3 motor with comp cams camshaft.
I think this barely scratches the surface but it's enough for now, pics below
Pushrod motors for the win

That is one ever more FULL engine bay. How in the world did you get an exhaust system run?

Such an amazing vehicle pictures cannot do it justice.absolutely spotless build from front to back and loved checking it out every time i was in Vans shop while mine was there. I suppose after they put that 7.3 in the boxwood green they dialed in the install. After shutting your doors one day I went back to mine removed the doors and disassembled everything. Rebuilt them from the ground up with sound Deadener because your doors felt so good and solid. I actually came on the forum today to look up 7.3 swaps because feeling that’s the route I will be going.I am currently running a 347 with the 6R80. Bought a home in Colorado for summers and will be doing a lot more trails and Moab, so i am ready for more torque..

If your looking for torque just do a T case swap. Sounds like you have plenty of engine and tranny.

Awesome truck! I love how stock it looks on the outside. I'd love to see pics from underneath, see how the exhaust is routed and what not.

Beautiful rig, but I find it mildly irritating that your engine bay is somehow 10X cleaner and emptier than mine (351W), and you have both a 7.3 Godzilla engine and hydroboost. Wherever the PCM and various other items ended up, your installer did an amazing job on the engine swap IMHO.

Perfect build, my taste all the way. I have a 2020 tremor with that motor so it must scoot.
