Only 146 Raven Black Broncos were ordered in '77. It has a running 302 with an Edelbrock intake and Holley 4bbl, C4 automatic, power steering, power disc brakes, even the original front sway bar is still intact. The frame is good...no rust holes. Add a leaf, Deaver coils, drop pitman.

New buckshots, pretty darn nice front and rear bumpers that are BOLTED on. Guaranteed to run, drive and stop. The body is probably toast, but there are plenty of good bits, somehow, the tailgate is rust free and looks to be original. I have more pics.

She has rust hence the price, but a cheap project none the less. $5500.00, or $5000 and i swap the buck shots for some rollers and keep the bumpers. This is cheap for a complete running '77. Got a tub?.... I'm you're huckleberry!

How toast is toast?
Based on price I feel like you are strongly hinting that this is 90% panel replacement
or
drive it until the doors (literally) fall off and then go after it in a few years?

more pictures

Since everyone is asking about "how bad" the tub is, here's another set of shots of a few of the critical areas. You be the judge.

Again, the frame is straight, both the front and rear frame ears (ends) are good and original. Frame has surface rust, no holes, no scale.

I personally think this is a great investment for someone who has plenty of time to build. Throw on a new D Carpenter pre-assembled tub and you may have $16k invested. Throw on a $3k paint job, clean up the drivetrain for $2k, add $4k in upgrades and somebody will have a $30k bronco (or more) in two or three years. This would be a great investment project for the right buyer. Good luck in the sale! If I had $20k to spare I'd be all over the 77!

Thanks, yeah, good call! I've also considered a Bronco Design 4 door fiberglass tub. I have all the bolt on body parts already, plus a '77 drive train with all the goodies sounds tempting.
My problem is, I'm an inpatient person and I have enough projects already.

Damn, that is one I've been meaning to go look at here in VT. Guess I missed my chance to buy it when it was local.

UPDATED PRICE $5000.00, or $4500.00 and I swap the tires for rollers and keep the bumpers.
Honestly, I'm surprised I still have this, but what do I know!

I'm surprised too! If it's still around when I have room for another I'll definitely be touching base.

I had her running a little this afternoon. The main tank is out, but the AUX tank is there and it has a fairly new sending unit and hose. The gas is a little stale. I'll probably drain and throw in some hi-test and go from there.

No, in '77 the main tank was poly like the AUX tank. Both are plastic. I still have it.
