Thanks Tasker!

I've been busy with this one...not exactly a really nice bumper, but something that everyone will certainly enjoy.

It's a solid cast iron fire pit / cooker! This thing throws out some serious heat! Not being a sheet metal fire pit, it's designed to last a lifetime, if not an heirloom item! All hardware is stainless steel, and the cooking grate rotates away from the flames to loading and serving, while also being able to be raised and lowered to adjust for cooking temperatures. It took over a year to develop, test, tweak and perfect. The website will be live soon and they are built and sold right in Holden, Massachusetts.

This project started in 2008 when the purchase of a cabin in the small town of Sherman, Maine created a need for a fire pit that doubled as an outdoor cooker. It was not pretty, but it functioned very well and having eaten off of the original myself, I can say it’s a very unique experience. Fast forward to October, 2020. I was handed the task to recreate this functional, yet primitive cooker into a manufacturable product. We wanted a product that was heirloom quality. A lifetime purchase built to last. A product where no one was ever left out of the conversation while tending to a gas grill, and everyone could participate in casual cooking with a front row seat. As the development moved forward, it consumed more and more of my time, effort, testing and evaluation, along with some international travel. During this development time, more people from within my company and around the globe with expertise I don't possess were giving incredible insight. The team grew, and eventually the entire Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing teams were involved. It's been a passion project from the start.

Acadia in a Bronco sounds awesome! Are you planning to take the coastal route, or go through the mountains on your way to Maine?
In all fairness I have to say we'll be in the 21 Bronco, because the 77 is not quite reliable enough yet for the trip up north. But at least it's a Bronco! We'll probably take the mountain route. I'm the navigator so I have to be working on a route map soon.

Follow the coast north and get the CD at the Acadia gift shop for the tour. Enjoy Cadillac Mountain.
I'm looking forward to Cadillac Mountain. I've read alot about it. I've wanted to go to Maine ever since my Mom went many, many years ago and raved about the beauty and how much she enjoyed it.

Thanks Randy. I can't pass up the chance to continue the ride north after May It Forward.

Cadillac Mountain is beautiful Judy. You’ll love it!
We went with some friends in November of 2020. The sunrise on the coast was amazing!

Well, very nice to have options :) If you're taking a route through the mountains the Kancamagus highway is a beautiful drive from Lincoln NH headed east towards Maine. Definitely going to get my '74 up there this year!

Randy do you remember the forest or park area we mentioned cruising through the dirt roads on sort of near your area? I think there were miles of dirt roads? May consider taking some time to drive around if we get there a day early.

We are planning to bring some donations - maybe the improved fuel sending units, badges or similar.

It’s very possible I’ll have this for the street cruise and definitely for the show. She’s not a highway machine, so I hope it’s all streets. ‘69 F250 with a four speed and the original 360.

According to Ford (back in 69) 1:1 was a highway beast. Lol

I’m going to try that theory out with my 76. If any of you get a call from me it maybe a bad sign.
