October 1st, 2016 9am to 4pm MP 21 Beach Road

Tidewater Broncos is taking the lead on this event this year. Hoping to have this be as successful, if not more than the 8 years past. What is this event about you ask? Well, Carova Beach is a 4x4 only access area that's primary focus is to house wild horses while also containing many resort rental houses. Each year Carova Beach plays host to thousands of day guest and also those renting for weeks at a time. This event started as a way for Off-road enthusiast to give back by picking up the trash left behind by all those visitors. Whether it be a cigarette butt, flip flop or a plastic skid plate. We pick it up and place it where it should have gone in the first place (the trash can). If you'd like to be involved we'd love to have you. For more details or questions email us at tidewaterbronco@gmail.com.

I dig that '79

Thanks, that's one of mine.

I put on the calendar, I have been wanting to get out to one of these for a few years.

Well I hope to see you at this one.

I've been going down there for over 30 years. Wish I was closer, looks like a great idea!

Same here, we like to think it's a great idea. We've been quite productive with all the trash and debris we've removed. Feels good at the end of the day.

You guys should have plenty to clean up. I was just down there when Hermine hit and she put lots of debris on the beach. I'm sure Julia did also. Right now there's major flooding behind the dunes.

I can. Imagine our house about 5 miles south had 14" of water in the ground floor as of this past Saturday.

So it's been a week since we converged on Carova, haven't had much surfin' time..... the Bronco guys and gals along with MUCH help from Virginia 4wheel drive and all concerned did some good work cleaning up the beach last Saturday! Thanks for all of the effort organizing and contributing. I was slack taking pictures because I was having too much fun hanging out chatting with folks and yes, cleaning up the beach! I feel some specific recognition is warranted, so you guys help me out with that...but to get things started........
