Things have been a little crazy around these parts getting ready for the move across country, but I wanted to take a second to plug the services of EFI Guy. After the recent Explorer swap, Garry's probably got more telephone consult hours with me than most Dell call center employees spend in a normal week! He did my harness, flashed the PCM (both of them, but that's another story), and where most peoples' responsibility would end there, that's where he set himself apart, and by a mile. Through a series of issues, each one only unveiling another, he walked me through computer functionality and the basics of the EDIS system. After fuel pressure issues, starter wiring issues, coil pack issues, relay issues, exhaust issues, O2 sensor issues, spark plug issues, fuel trim issues... you name it...The Bronco is alive and running great. I can't stress enough how awesome it was to have him on the other end of the phone the whole time. I highly recommend his service, beyond the great work he does on the harness and computer, he really knows his stuff and didn't mind taking the extra few minutes to explain what I was seeing through the troubleshooting and why. Thanks to him and Viperwolf's insight on a few wiring issues, I was able to put 50-60 miles on the rig this weekend. Probably the last real driving I'll get to do until it shows up on a transport truck in Seattle in April-May, but it's a load off my mind knowing that it's running and driving when I head north and have to leave it behind for a few months.
