I had a landscaper over to trim and haul some trees. I've known the guy for years. His crew, all Spanish speaking, were doing the work while he was checking out my Broncos.

One of his guys came over and was talking to him about the Bronco. I understood some, and heard "se vende" and "troque"

He tells me his guy knows where there is a "pick-up truck one of these for sale"

That got my attention.

I asked him about, He said it needs some work, but it looks nice. The guy is asking $900. I can probably get it for $600 he thinks.

I pooped my pants.

Anyway, I tell him if I buy it, I'll give him a $100 finders fee.

A few days later the phone rings. It's an old guy and starts to tell me about how nice it is and I need to see it right away because he's asking $900 but would take less because otherwise he's going to scrap it and they offered $400.

How does the story turn out?

Since there's no pics of your score posted yet. It ends up being a scout.

It turned out to be a Stroppe built military half cab, that won both the Dakar and Baja. And was once owned by Steve McQueen.

I'm going with a 86 El Camino on dubs... obvious stand in for a Bronco. What's my prize?

A topless 80's full size Bronco. That makes 15 guesses. So what is the answer?

JUST KIDDING!

While I liked the Jeep, Land Cruiser and especially the Scrambler guesses sadly the El Camino and Chevette were closest.

It was a 77 Ford Courier. The 4 cylinder, Mazda Courier.

Pretty much "Just like" a Bronco, except not at all.
