accelerator pump leak

i think i have the original 2150 carb on my 1977. the accel pump is dripping, so i was gonna replace diaphram and umbrella plunger. any rebuild kits to avoid?

You don't need a complete kit to replace the fuel pump. Those are available separately and usually include the little rubber check valve doo-dad.
Just buy it at a good part store like NAPA or Carquest, and you'll be fine.

Hi, X2. We used to do this with the carb on the car all the time. Of course you have to remove the top of the carb. Good luck

While you have the pump cover off rub it on a piece of sandpaper laid on a flat surface. most of the time you will find that the cover is warped causing the leak.
