i think i have the original 2150 carb on my 1977. the accel pump is dripping, so i was gonna replace diaphram and umbrella plunger. any rebuild kits to avoid?
You don't need a complete kit to replace the fuel pump. Those are available separately and usually include the little rubber check valve doo-dad.
Just buy it at a good part store like NAPA or Carquest, and you'll be fine.
While you have the pump cover off rub it on a piece of sandpaper laid on a flat surface. most of the time you will find that the cover is warped causing the leak.
