I'm pretty sure nobody acid dips anymore due to environmental regulations. I would look for a media blaster with a good reputation. You could go with a soda blaster or regular 'media' and get mimimum warpage or if you find one, a good 'sand' guy can do it without trashing your panels. Good luck...
not sure who chem strips in OK, but i know there is Kleen strip in IN that might be an option. do some searching...
i have mine done at carolina chem strip. they burn them first then dip for the rust. you can get by wiht just a burn if rust isn't an issue. it's far better than blasting imop. it gets deep inside the nooks and crannies and where the media can't. there is also no media anyplace to come out when painting..
I had a hood done in Northern California. (Not much far north of San Francisco) it did the job, but I wasn't impressed with how he handled the part after dipping. He primed it while it was still damp, and I ended up with rust in the seams (pretty much the whole reason I dipped it in the first place).
