I recently just sold my 76', rough day but... needed to happen. I ran into the PO I bought the 76' from a week ago and asked him if he had or knew of any more broncos forsale. He said stop by the house sometime and take a look at what I have:
Here is the short of it: I can buy 3 broncos one thats complete, and two that the bodies are off the frame. The bodies that are off are pretty rough, but the frames are in awesome shape. There is a 68' body off but w/ a running 289 in it, no doors, no WS frame, no tailgate but has two hoods that are in good shape no rust, and a hardtop in good shape, the front grill and fenders are pretty solid.
A 71' 6cyl COMPLETE front fender and grill wrecked, hard top is trash, no tailgate, but door post, stikers, cowl, kick panels and bed are solid.
And the last one I think its a 66' body on the ground, body pretty rough(door post, strikers, floor boards, rear bed in bad shape. Only thing solid is the cowl that I can see. Frame is in great shape.
None of these broncos has ps,pb, but they all are rolling. What is not shown are the hoods and a half cab thats in the weeds but rough.
My question finally is should I get all these broncos? I can get all three for $500. I had to go cut down the weeds for them to see daylight and here are some pics for you to see. I love to think I can save these things but I'm just trying to be realistic. There is a ton of work here needed to be done, a ton of parts to buy, and the fact of bringing them all home. Just need some advice frome those of you who have been down this road. Thanks again.
This is the 66' body I THINK and a good rolling chasis

Here is the 68' body on ground w/ white hardtop over it. Frame and motor still in weeds to many yellow jackets for me to even get close!!

Yes, buy all three for $500, once you get them home you can sort them out, maybe sell some parts or keep them all.

Seriously there shouldn't even be a question as to whether or not to buy them.

You can make money off this buy or probably put a truck together. It really depends on how much work you are willing to do. I bought 4 in a similar fashion about a year ago and three have been saved while one went to save others. It is tough moving multiple trucks especially alone and you need space to put them. Good luck with your decision.

They are all getting put on the trailer by the end of the week, and I will sort out what I want to keep and sell off everything I don't want. Thanks for all the responses, now I get to tell the wife a lot of yard art will be coming soon, that should go over good..

Sort it out as you unload it. Move it fast so momma don't get to unhappy. Good job, looks like you have some buyers lining up already.

Dude.....if you have the means and a place to keep these, you'd be nuts to not jump on these for $500.

That tub in the first pic looks pretty dang solid and would make a great base for a complete resto for someone!!

I'd be all over it and have the place to store them before bringing them back to life...
