I searched the forums, but didn't really find an answer for this one. I have a bunch of Aeroquip socketless hose (the blue stuff) and the push-on fittings left over from doing my fuel lines. Is there any reason why I couldn't use this line for my hydroboost low pressure hoses? I just got the BC Broncos power steering filter and I'm trying to decide how to run the hoses and realized I need a few more fittings at $15 each if I run the braided stainless for the low pressure lines. The hose says it's good for up to 250 PSI. How much pressure does the return circuit for the PS see?

It will work just fine - all the returns in my steering and hydroboost plumbing are plumbed with it (Aeroquip FC332 hose).

that hose and those fittings are good to 250psi, not good for the high pressure side, but good for a return.

Aswesome. Time to go make some hoses. ;D This will actually work out pretty good because i have some 120 degree fittings that will work out better than the 90's for hose routing. I don't think they make 120 degree fittings for the teflon lined braided hoses, at least not that I could find.

Got my return lines 99% done. It's so much easier working with this hose than the braided stuff. I just need to get one more fitting. I decided to get one of those adapters that Hydratech has for the return port on the Hydroboosts. The hose routing works out better being able to hook up a 90 degree fitting to the port rather than going straight hose and having to make a big swoop upward then down.
