Alright what's the secret guys? (aftermarket steering)

I have aftermarket steering from BC's. So all you guys using BC's or Bulletproof heim steering etc...How are you guys mounting the steering stabilizer onto the oversized tubing because the stock mounting plate and U-Bolts don't fit over the tube OD.

What's the secret?

get some larger u-bolts that will clear to DOM tubing. Either mod the existing bracket to accept the larger u-bolt or fab a new one. I added a couple set screws in the bracket to wedge the bracket against the DOM tubing once the u-bolts were tightened.

My 'secret' is I do not run steering stabilizers. My solution fits perfect every time.;D

Try it without the stabilizer, seriously. I have never run a stabilizer after lifting, changing to BC steering, etc, and I don't think I need one. Get a professional alignment done and see where you end up. Then if you still think you need one, go with the larger u-bolts, etc.

It drives fine on the road, but I appreciate still having opposable thumbs after a day off road (with manual steering). ;D

I'll try to fab up a bracket, thanks. Anyone have pictures of their bracket?
