TDubya, sounds like you know what you are up against. my advice was given because things you use on this engine may not work on the next engine. my theory is save as much as you can on the upgrade now and spend it on the 347. i definately am not a cam ex-pert, but i can help you avoid or incur light wallet syndrome.

Thanks for all the input. My initial thought was to add some performance to my current engine while planning for my future build. I should be able to get rockers and hardened pushrods for now and only have to get pushrods for the new engine if needed. I've talked about an engine upgrade for 10 years now and the way things are going I may have the current one for another 10 years!
