Do the milder aluminum heads work ok with the fuel injection? If so, what cam are you running?

I can't see any reason they would not. You still have to deal with things like the valve springs on the Edelbrock E-street heads supposedly not being compatible with roller cams, but that's a minor thing and most of the others are already sporting higher rate springs, or whatever makes them more compatible.

Otherwise, I can't see any problem and most of the EFI setups I know (except mine) are running aluminum heads of one type or another already. Never heard of a problem until you get into more exotic fare like big-port heads and such.

Hopefully others will confirm the same info. Be nice if it was always that simple!

Oh, and for a cam you want something with a lobe separation angle (or is that "lobe centerlines" and is that the same?) near the 114° that the Ford cams use. I figure anything over 112 degrees is good, but all the cams I've worked with, bought for myself, or had recommended by other builders are using 114 lobe centerlines.

Paul nailed it. Im running e streets on my 351 with explorer efi. To keep the efi happy keep a 112 or 114 LSA cam in it and you'll be ok.
