Angled windshield risers?

Anybody make a more streamlined windshield riser for use with fabric or by itself?

Not a super fan of the right angled one's from Bestop, STC, Rampage, etc.

Edit: Maybe the newer Rampage risers aren't just a simple angle shape anymore? This link at Wild Horses is hard to make out but looks like a more complicated shape than just a simple angle. Attaching a pic of zoomed in image, I think we're looking at the windward side of the riser, with the slip in part shown in lower right.

BC Broncos soft top riser seems nice, but don't think they sell by itself.

The image you're looking at is showing the rearward side, facing the top hardware. So leeward? If that's the proper opposite of what you said? ;) :D
There really are only the two main companies. Bestop and Kayline/STC/Rampage. Neither of which, as far as I know, put much rearward lean angle into them. Aerodynamics were not a consideration when these came out. Heck, making things good looking was barely a consideration!

You may have to make your own if it's for a bikini. But if it's for an existing top, my thinking is that you can't modify the riser unless you're ready to modify the top as well. Moving the riser back will change the whole dynamics of the soft top.
The Bestop is the least good looking I think, because it's taller in order to clear the wiper motor. The Rampage is cleaner, but is lower so you need to relocate the wiper motor.
Trade-offs in every direction.

Never seen the BCB attachment point close up, so can't comment. But while I think you're probably correct about it's not being available separately, you might call them anyway. If they have some that are not included with a top, and you catch just the right person at just the right time, you might be able to score one.

Good luck no matter what.
Hopefully someone here has a solution for you. But let us know if you do come up with anything.

good evening, I felt the same as you, I wanted something that followed the angle of the windshield and not some generic 90 degree piece of metal.
After many weeks of searching and looking at broncos, I noticed Jonathan ward of Icon had the perfect windshield riser, after a phone conversation it turns out it’s BC bronco’s fancy soft top riser.
I contacted Jason at BC Broncos and he did sell one to me, of course I did not care about the cost due to the fact it was exactly what I wanted. (It’s not cheap by any means)
Hopefully he will sell you one also, you will be happy with it.

Awesome info, thanks for confirming what I thought!

Could you post a pic of it on your rig? How tall is it?

Mine came with/or got over the years a riser on mine that I had never seen before or since. It almost formed a visor over the windshield. I went different route on the rebuild. Can get some better pics, if you want pay the shipping and it's yours

Interesting setup, I appreciate the offer but not the direction I’m looking to go. Thanks again!

Now that's a very cool looking eyebrow over the wipers!
Don't think I've ever noticed a pic of it before. Unless this is the first time we've seen it posted up?

Looks like the best bet is custom fab a part or the BC Broncos riser. Would appreciate some pics of the BC Broncos part from anybody that has one.

Decided to drink coffee and google a bit. Found this previous posting on the BC Bronco soft top and it shows the riser.

Here's a couple of pics from the thread the riser is quite nice and looks like one can maybe remove the lip for the fabric (which would clean it up for a riser only install)

Good evening, I will take some photos tomorrow and post them. I’m sorry for the slow response
