I wish I had thought of it before I tore everything apart, but I did not. I need an exact measurement from the front edge of the frame horn to the firewall. When I say firewall, I mean where it is flat where the master cylinder bolts up. I am in the process of mocking up for a 4.6 DOHC Mark VIII engine, and would like to slide it back so I am as close to the floor shift as I can get. Even if I can pick up 1" it would be worth it to me. What can I say...I have short arms!

Thank you therd1 for the pic. I was looking for a Bronco with the front clip off!

Front of firewall at where the master cylinder bolts to end of frame is 41 inches. The front is off of mine for a rebuild also. Hope this helps.

Is that exactly 41 inches? I wasn't getting any replies so I started another "if you have your front clip off" threads. I recieved another measurement of 41.5 there. I take it you measured straight front to back with nothing in the way...right?
