Well my buddy finnally got the power steering working on his Bronco 1966
it a 6 cyl so we were a little afraid to put power steering on it ..didn't know if the motor could stand anything else pulling on it ...Well it great we put a sag.pump used that I had laying around ...he got a ford gear box off here from one of our members...we made hyd hoses 37.00 ouch ..brackets from and old motor we bought ...
Man it it so much better ..back when we went hunting in New Mexico he was sore from driving with the locker up front and no steering ...
His quote was ''That steering is so good he could almost do without sex for 3 weeks''
I told him I'd tell his wife that tonight at supper...What else are buddys for ..

BOYS DO THIS SWAP IT'S GOT TO BE THE BEST SWAP...

My PO had BC Bronco install the PS, PB, and 3.5" lift on my 66.
I got it and added front disk (Cheby Style - thxs to 73Stallion)

These have been the best mods so far, next I have a 200 to go in.

It never stops.....so what is you next upgrade?

Any additional info you can give?

I'd love to do that on my 66 as well. Any idea about total cost. Aditional info or write up as well as pictures?
Much appreciated!

Happy with mine

I have a 69 with a 170 six that I put PS in with parts from the junk yard. It has been in about 8 or so years and have had no trouble. Oh yah the cost was $120 and that includes the front springs from the same donor F-150.

If any one is interested, I can post or e-mail what I did, but won't have pictures until I get home in a few weeks.

Paul.
