Another repair option for weak Tie rod ends from Dorman

Dorman has always been good with figuring out weaknesses and developing a fix. I remember back in the 90’s when they came up with the steel core gasket to replace the crappy plastic gasket on the vortex engines from GM. Then they made the intake for the 4.6L ford that had an aluminum passage for coolant rather than plastic.

For Tie Rods, the Ford HD version that comes with the HD steering Rack and the Icon Forged Tie Rods are probably the best available now. (Non Heim Joint) Both fit on the factory Steering Rack and are a lot stronger than the stock Tie Rods.
