I've not, but that's good timing thanks. Just about to pull the trigger on a set of 16" but was going to do the pricier E load.

I would be curious to see what you have found in a tall skinny radial besides these.

Nothing in that size. Closest I found is a 265/75 from Treadwright in a load range D a few years ago. Nice tires but a bit too wide. On a 16 X 7" rim they rub when stuffed up into the fenders on my truck.

My 16 X 32 bias 4 ply Swampers don't rub and are great off road, but no fun on the highway. They're also getting pretty beat up. I've been looking for a replacement tire that works OK in both worlds.

i would be leery of SIMPLETIRE.COM I tried to order a set of tires from them about 2 weeks ago......waited for over a half hour on hold wanting to order. Finally gave up and bought the tires from a store on eBay. They emailed me twice afterwards with a half-assed apology: understaffed, too busy, etc. Basically, told them I would never buy from them or recommend them to anyone. Had someone waiting to 'chat' the whole time I was on hold, but wouldn't pick up the phone.

Not to defend simple tire, but I did purchase from them around Christmas, I ordered all online and did not try and call. Got what I ordered in a timely manner. I would buy from them again

I had questions, which is why I called. Never easy to get questions answered online when they are not simple yes or no answers.

I still say it is a poor way do do business, when you have a phone # for orders and don't answer it for over a half an hour, after I have gotten through and put on hold.

I prefer to do stuff by phone (with a person) verses online. Example: today I ordered a laser printer - took almost a half an hour on the phone, but I know exactly what I am getting and it will work the way I want it to. Also, got a $50 price reduction by explaining that I saw the same one elsewhere for $50 less. Even though it was from a 'non-authorized' seller, Xerox matched the price. I had spent several hours yesterday and earlier today on their website (and others) trying to answer all my questions before ordering, and I couldn't. So, dealing with a real person is well worth it to me instead of dealing with a computer. Oh, the lady gave me free shipping, too!

I have bought from Simpletire a few times and had good service. Did have a few questions when ordering but done it through the computer and everything went well. Their prices were about the best I found for the BFG mudders. Ken

I have not used those tires but will say its not often you can find a 85 series in a "C" rating, most are "E". I'm running 235x85x16 BFG AT KO2's and they ride good, not a rough ride at all and they are "E" rated.
