Looks like a nice Bronco! Is it what you were expecting when you bought it, or did you find some suprises that you wernt counting on?

No real surprises...had it for 2 hours and bought tires (expected). I guess the biggest surprise compared to the '76 I had is that this still has the stock steering wheel and it feels like a bus steering wheel compared to the smaller Grant wheel I was running on the other one.

As for plans, here's the list (in no order and will be slow due to the new baby coming Friday!!):

- Cage (probably rear overhaulin' style)
- 3 point belts
- custom console built for radio (running a front bench seat and don't want to cut the dash)
- Reupholster the bench seats (front and rear) to match
- Soft top
- Long Term (way long term) Paint...the Wimbeldon White is o.k., I just prefer something colored....

Frame off restoration in 1995. Rebuilt 302 and tranny 8k miles ago (in frame off) 61k original miles.

When they did the frame off they put double shocks all the way around....

Wow! It sounds like most of your work is done already. When i first bought mine i was looking for a daily driver but didnt mind one in need of work. It has been very dependable as of now. I have put a little over 10k miles on it so far. I really enjoy doing the work myself, i think thats just part of the fun of owning one!
