Any Holley Sniper 2 experience yet?

Hey everyone, just curious if anyone in the EB world has experience with the newest Holley Sniper 2 setup. Supposedly Sniper 2 fixed the quirks of Sniper 1, but I can't seem to find much real world feedback yet since they just came out a little over a year ago.

This would go on my mild 302 to replace a 600cfm Holley, and eventually replace the points dizzy with Hyperspark.

Why risk it when you could just get a Pro Flo 4 system and be happy?

That's a fair question!

no feedback because I think folks got snake bit once, not many EB I have heard have tried 2. I wouldn't either for another few years TBH.

I did the Sniper on a 77 Trans Am, I commented on another thread, Unit was bad (IAC) out of the box. Very difficult to get Tech to answer the phone, let alone talk to the same person on each call. 2 months to get buy in that there was a problem, wouldn't just send a replacement part, 3 weeks to get a replacement unit. Finally after 3 months I had a running vehicle that would idle. Never going down that road again.

I was at a car show Saturday and talked to two that have the Sniper 2. They were happy but you still need to have them laptop tuned. I finally got my Sniper 1 lined out and it's been running good for probably a year. I also have a spare unit sitting in storage because when they go down and Holley tells you to ship it to them, it's about a 2 month turnaround.

I haven’t been able to find anything on the Sniper 2 review for Ford Small Block. I have the Sniper 1 on my 302, installed by the PO and it was running horrible. Trained myself through Holley’s Sniper forum and YouTube to get it dialed in. Once I made and installed a diamond plate RFI shield between the distributor and Sniper unit, I’ve been very happy with the 1 since, but hopefully the 2 doesn’t require the quirks of the “learning” phase like the 1. Perfect world… tap on the Sniper wizard option in the programming and the damn thing works. Not the case with the 1.

I couldn't find anyone with Sniper 2 experience either (started a post a few weeks ago).
New ProFlow is in an unopened box in the shop. As soon as I get the calves to town the Sniper 1 is coming off (and into the trash?) and the ProFlow is going on.
