Anybody do the Intake manifold cooling mod???

How much does this mod help a 351W that sometimes struggles to stay below 210 - 220?

I am replacing the intake manifold gasket and am thinking about doing it while I have it out.

are you talking about plugging the egr ports to the upper intake?

Well, the first problem is that you're in Phoenix! HA! LOL

I did the mod, but I also put on a smaller W/P pulley, 4-core radiator & shroud at the same time. Sitting in traffic, it runs around 200-210. But, that's in 110 degree heat here in El Centro.

P.S.: I usually try & not drive it when it's that hot because with the doors/top off, feels like a heat gun pointed at your face.
