I know a couple dealers that are restoring some just for that purpose. Probably flip them after the hype slows once new deliveries are moving along.

Sales Manager at a Dealership here - our owner approached me about using one of my trucks for the showroom for a Bronco event.

I declined. I see how people abuse these cars, climbing in and out, bumping into them, strollers, children, spills, etc.

I'm not interested in getting into a dispute with my employer about who is responsible when there is damage to my vehicle.

A dealer contacted the head of our local club and asked if a few of us would bring ours down for the day while they showed a couple of the 2021 Sports and a couple of the 2021 "big broncos". It was nice to hang out and meet people. It was a bit strange when the ford reps were giving out bronco hats to only people who had orders at this dealer. It would have been a nice gesture to give the few of us that came out for them a hat or two.

"It was a bit strange" is putting it politely! Sheesh.

The members in your club are likely bigger Bronco fans than the Ford folks ;D

I would think having to put something under a vehicle to catch the drips in my dealership, it wouldn't make for good advertising.

Mine too....but notice the red carpet under the EB in that pic...

%)

That does sound like a fun opportunity to get to meet people and talk shop about Broncos, but I would find it hard to not make a snarky comment about how you were invited to bring down your Broncos to increase foot traffic, but they couldn't shell out some cheap swag! Still sounds like a neat event, nonetheless. And I would probably agree to join the event also -- any opportunity to talk shop!

My local ford dealer spent some money on a billboard leading into town. It's right across the street from the local Jeep dealer & 1/8 mile from the Chevy dealer. I won't buy anything even parts from them if I can help it. And I sure wouldn't let them use one of my Bronco if they were to ask.

I bought a few trucks from there years ago. They were a really good dealership back in the day. I think it is hard to find a good one anymore.
