look up U-ship http://www.uship.com/vehicles/
I used them several times... You enter all the information about your vehicle and people bid on your job. Just be careful about the "feedback" of the various carriers. The cheapest is ususally the cheapest for a reason.

it is best to go directly to a driver or the company that actually does the transport and stay away from the brokers. I had a Bronco shipped back in the summer and got jerked around by the brokers.. Stay away from National Auto Shipping. I did not go with the cheapest, they took my job and the bronco set for weeks, I changed shipping companies who said they owned their own truck and had their own driver, they lied and the bronco set for another week.

Someone on this board recommended Dennis, dturkette@gmail.com I contacted him during my ordeal and he was a big help with information to get bronco moved.

I would highly recommend contacting Dennis, he he cannot move the bronco he can direct you to someone who can.

I have used DAS (dependable auto shippers) directly and Uship. For Uship, I would only book with an actual shipper, NOT a broker.

I have moved several vehicles from all parts of the country to GA and learned one key lesson - you get what you pay for. The best experience I had was with Intercity Lines. They specialize in classic/expensive/etc vehicles and will treat it with white gloves - they own their own equipment and are all enclosed. The services is impeccable and the slight premiuim yiou will pay is well worth it (from my experience)

I just used Uship for my 78 Bronco from Texas to Florida. The guy I booked was independent. He had a dually and a trailer. I too have used DAS and I can honestly say this last experience was by far the best. So X2 on the independent driver route.

So should we contact you to serve as the middle man, or does your friend have a business name that we can look up? I only ask because I will be in the same boat in 4 months.
