Anyone running this suspension out there? My local 4wheelparts guy said it is really good for the "occasional" Silver Lake Trip. Not to mention the kit is a fraction of the price of the Duff suspension.

I dont think I need extended radius arms since I dont plan to rock crawl and all that, but I dont want to be cheap on my truck! Any comments would be appreciated....

Once you spend the money to make drivelines work and get your caster to a point where you can drive it in straight line you could buy two of Duff's lifts. The ride quaility would be horrible. Do some research on this sight using the search function and you will see why all the bronco specialist's don't offer a seven inch lift.

For the love of all things holy, RUN AWAY!!!!!
4 wheel parts is OK for wheels and tires, and accessories. They're what I refer to as a 'bolt-on boutique'. They really don't know chit, but they do sell the parts, and might have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Save up, do the right thing, and do it once. I've been down that road, being broke sucks, and spending hard earned money is tough to do.

Superlift springs ride like poo. They handle like poo. When you finally see the light, and upgrade to better springs, you won't be able to give them away. Add-a-leafs will leave you wishing you hadn't.

Rancho, Superlift, Trail Master, Rough Country all can be lumped in the 'poo' category.

Get quality springs from any of the vendors, and avoid the 'budget' lifts, they're the same relabeled junk. Deaver, Cage and National are all quality spring manufacturers. BC has his coils custom wound, and are just as wonderful.

7" is ridiculous; no matter what you've been told, no matter how big your tires are. 3-1/2" of suspension with a 2" body lift works perfect with up to 35" tires. I'm lowering my Bronc, and it's on 38's. My wife's has a 3-1/2" spring lift and no body lift and clears 35's just fine, I'm considering lowering hers too.

I'm not sure where you're located, but find a local EB club, and get some ideas and opinions out of them before jumping in on something.

The superlifts are made for full sized f150 with big blocks. Can you say no flex. The 5.5 lift offered by cage and other should be the highest a suspension should be lifted on a combo use bronco. if you need 7 inches of lift go 5.5 suspension and 2 body.

I'll second Gummi...run very far away. If you're going to be in the sand, I would suggest a moderate lift and a high quality shock (Bilstein) valved for the job. How you like to drive, tire size, and overall setup all need to be considered but for sand, a desert prerunner setup will probably be the most fun to drive and it should remain very streetable...probably more so that a full on flexy kit for rock crawling.

I love my CAGE 3.5" springs on and off-road but any of the quality EB specific lifts from one of the Bronco houses would be better than the 7" kit you mentioned in the first post.

If you are just looking for a big lift. Go 5.5" BC lift and 1-2" body lift.

I have some Superlift 6" coils that came on a rig I bought..I'll let 'em go very cheap. OR you could cut off a piece of 4x4 lumber and use that in place of the springs and get the same ride.%) I could roll over a quarter in the road and tell you if it was heads or tails.

Sorry to pile on..questioning the price difference is certainly valid. Buy your suspension kit from a proven EB vendor's stock and you will thank yr lucky stars that you got the advice you have.

I run wildhorses 3.5inch suspension with a 2" body lift with 36"tires that fit pretty good. Body lift lowers the center of gravity ober suspension lift.
