I have a 74 column, AOD transmission every thing is attached to a Lokar AOD shift lever at tranny, Art Carr AOD shift cable a fabbed piece I built that allows the shift points match from selector to shifts on the transmission.
My problem is that when I shift from P to 1st are right on but when you go back to Park I'm off on the selector and you have to go back to the transmission shift lever to get it back to park. I have been at this for 3 days strait with no luck. Any suggestions

Thanks

Move the attachment point on the transmission a hair closer to the shaft, or the attachment point on the column a hair further away.

Make sure none of the bracketery is flexing too much
