Automatic Trans Dynamometer?

Anybody hear of this?
Guy in Marysville, WA seems to put his builds on one.
Anyone know of a place with one in CA Norcal area?

It's been nearly 30 years since I seen/used one in school. More of a spin up machine than a place it under a load dyno. Had a 2-cylinder gas engine to spin it. RPM in and out to confirm what gear it was in. Line pressure taps. I think we were using a hand vacuum pump to run the modulator.
