Squirrel Squeezin's... and goats. We both raised goats. He lived about 100 miles away in WA.

Roger Be;ll was one of the "Bronco Horde". He stopped by WH years ago. I missed that Death Valley trip but I think that's the trip when you might have met him.

Hasn't ICON used AX-15s behind some of their Coyote builds? Not sure the torque rating of that transmission is up to the Coyote's rating, but I thought that's what they were using.

Roger is on the left in the attached photo. I'm in the center and Lars on the right. This was a Horde trip in 2011 - here we were somewhere north of Jarbidge, NV.

Holy cow. Yes I remember him. I certainly remember the bronco.
Wasn’t he also on the trip when the horde came down to do the Rubicon and somebody needed a hub and rotor and bearings, or something like that and we brought some parts up to them at icehouse resort before hitting the trail.
Jerry Ornellas and Tom Roslund and I came up and Tom actually had some of the parts in his stash.

On that trip I think one of the members had just finished building their bronco and the Rubicon trip was its maiden voyage. Don’t remember if that was the fiberglass body bronco or one of the others.

That was a trip I was on & we called it the Manly Man Run!

No trailers allowed.

We drove our Broncos down to the Rubicon for the week.

We had to stop by Wild Horses and pick up a hub and rotor and stuff for Steve's Bronco who locked up a hub going down the freeway at 55 mph and luckily kept going straight!! Whew...

We slept on the ground in sleeping bags at rest stops on the way down and back.

I remember the sprinklers turning on at 6 o'clock one morning and I've never seen Roger move so fast in my life lol

haha! Great memories. Fun days.
And yeah, you guys had some epic trips. One of the things I miss about the Broncofix website was the Horde stories archive.
Someone should find those in the internet archive and create a new accessible page. Or at least find them and post up links so others can view them too. Like we did with Ryan's FFI website stuff.

Anybody still do those trips and get-togethers? Or is it just some of the same folks but not the whole Horde?

There are still some trips done - varying degrees of Hordesmen in attendance. Most of us WANT to go on all of them but life/family/jobs get in the way. Lars and Thom (ntsqd) are the ringleaders for most of the adventures. They've had some epic adventures for sure. I was fortunate to join them on trips in 2008, 2011, and 2013. All of those trips were between 2000-3000 mile adventures for me. None of us had trailers (behind us or under us) - we drove our Broncos like Henry Ford intended us to do!
