Anybody running one of these? I have the stock 2 brl and the dang thing is driving me nuts. The probe is too long with the supplied fitting. So I got the special extended adapter but it is too long and the dist will not seat.

Is there a 90 degree fitting or what? Am I stuck with an electric? Any body runng the FoMoCo 4 brl aluminum on a 5.0? That is my "New" engine. Is the sensor in a different location?

Weeks I have been getting adapters and crap from autometer and pep boys.

Thanks!

I didn't have a problem like that on my stealth. Even the cheap gauges do have a pretty long probe. Sounds like your going to be stuck with electric. :'(

Indian Harbour Bch,
I have a mechanical H2O gauge, and it just sticks right on top of the intake, just under the air cleaner... I think there is one adaptor in there, but not a whole fandangled thing... I can take a pic of it if you like...
